Kosher-friendly apartments in Haifa

For Shabbat: hot plate, kettle on timer, hallway light on timer, urn if you'd prefer. For fully kosher stays: full kashering with a local rabbi in advance (needs 48h). Kosher grocery delivery through Rami Levy or Yohananof waiting for you. Kosher-for-Passover setup on request.

The Beit Yaakov synagogue on Ben Gurion, a five-minute walk from the Bankers apartments — mixed Ashkenaz and Sephardi, warm crowd. Chabad House Haifa is nearby for lunch invitations. We keep an updated list of walking-distance shuls per apartment; ask and we'll send it.

Rami Levy (Horev branch) and Yohananof are the two supermarkets we use — both fully kosher, both deliver same-day. For fresh produce, the Talpiot market on Sirkin Street is walking distance from most of our apartments and has kosher poultry and cheeses under Chief Rabbinate certification. Aroma coffee on Ben Gurion is kosher and open until 11pm; Landwer is kosher and Shabbat-observant (closes early Friday).

Our default kitchen setup is separated dairy — dishes, pans, and a dedicated dishwasher rack. For strict meat kashrut or fully kosher-for-Passover, we bring in Rabbi Menahem from Neve Sha'anan two days before your arrival for a full kashering — burn-off, immersion of new utensils, and paper-covered surfaces. We've done this for eight family stays now and have the routine tight. Message us with dates and level of observance and we'll write back with a plan and a small extra fee.
